Why Cleaners Derby exists
Cleaners Derby is a small, owner-run cleaning service, not a franchise or a faceless agency. Chantelle Barratt started it to give people in Derby and the surrounding villages a cleaner they can actually trust with a key to their home: the same friendly face each visit, someone who picks up when you call, and standards that do not slip once the first clean is done.
Being local matters here. We work across Derby and Derbyshire, so your cleaner is rarely more than a short drive away and knows the local runs. That means reliable arrival times, easy rescheduling, and a service that fits around family and work rather than the other way round.
Vetted, insured, and accountable
Trust is not a slogan for us, it is built into how we run. Chantelle holds an ACRO criminal record check and every cleaner is vetted before they set foot in a customer home. We carry £1 million public liability cover with PolicyBee, so your home and your peace of mind are protected on every visit. If anything is ever not right, you talk to the owner directly, not a ticketing system.

We agree a clear guide price, sort access in the way that suits you, and send a vetted cleaner who takes the time to learn how you like things done. From then on you keep, wherever possible, the same cleaner each visit, with no long contract and no pressure.
